I went through the drive in at the bank to cash a check. There was a line behind me so I drove on, pulled over to count my money. I realized the teller gave me $20 too much. I went into the bank to return the $20. It was a joy to see their faces! The teller said, "do you realize you are a rare individual. Most people would not do what you did". Thank you for your inspiring story.
I had a recent experience also, where I went to pick up an order and one of the items that I had ordered was accidently duplicated. I double checked to see if I had accidently ordered two of them, but I didn't.
So, I returned the duplicated item to the office where I had checked in to pick it up the order.
They were surprised also. They thanked me for my honesty.
It's such a fun and awesome feeling to "do the right thing!"
